The New South Wales Government's Smart and Skilled program provides a funding contribution to Approved Prioviders (RTOs) to provide structured training to NSW workers through an apprenticeship pathway. These funds contribute towards the cost of the training that employers or the employee would otherwise have to pay.

The program works in conjunction with the Australian Apprenticeship System, under which apprentices and trainees (also known in some jurisdictions as "Australian Apprentices") enter into legally binding training contracts with their employers and receive structured training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

As an Approved Provider, Dickens Assessment and Training Services currently holds funding for RII30815 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations. This means the Government will pay for the training provided to eligible NSW apprentices.

We can tailor our training program to be completed on the job or at our Training facility at Coffs Harbour. Our training is face to face, typically one-on-one or within a small group. We tailor onsite training to suit the needs of the individual trainees and employers. Onsite training means minimal loss of productivity.
